Dr. BASANT

Chairman & Managing Director

With more than 20 years of experience in diverse business sectors,Dr. Basant has been the main axle of our establishment. With a passion for renewable energy and a phenomenal business intelligence in the same, he sighted opportunities in this emerging renewable energy sector way back in the year 1998. The company reached the prestigious milestone of 350 MW of wind project development works executed in a single year (2015-16).

Dr. Basant is currently the Chairman of UKF College of Engineering & Technology, which offers B.Tech & M.Tech Programs with a Student capacity of 1000 Students and 200 Staff Members.

AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS
  • On 23rd October 2016, Dr. Basant received the Best Renewable Energy Developer Award at Madhya Pradesh from Mr. Upendra Tripathi, Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in the presence of Mr. Manu Shristava, Principal Secretary, Renewable Energy & Mr. Jha, Director-Projects, NTPC.
  • On 29th July 2016, he was conferred with BRAND ICON 2016 - SOCIAL ENTERPRISES by The Times of India, Kerala.
  • Recognizing his incredible work in the field of renewable energy, Colombo University conferred him with a Doctor of Industry in 2013.

  • Dr. Basant is a visionary and astute businessman with an experience of more than 20 years in diverse sectors across India.
  • He entered the Wind Energy business in early 2000 and spot the opportunity in the emerging renewable sector in India.
  • He set up Kshema Power in 2013 and has hence been executing turnkey projects in this entity.
  • Recognizing his contribution in the field of renewable energy, Colombo University conferred him with the Doctor of Honors (industry) in 2013.
  • Dr. Basant is the chairman of UKF College of Engineering & Technology with a Student capacity of 1000+ Students and 200+ Staff Members.

Mr. Abhinand With a Master's Degree in Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship from the renowned University of Manchester, UK, Mr. Abhinand plays a pivotal role in Kshema Power's Global Business Development and Funding. Additionally, he assumes responsibility for managing the Hospitality Sectors within the Kshema Group .

AMRITHA PRASOBH

Director | BUSSINESS DEVELOPMENT – GCC

Mrs. Amritha Prasobh is a highly experienced Engineer with a Masters’s Degree in Nano Medical Sciences. In her role at Kshema Power, she spearheads Business Development in the GCC area. Additionally, she takes on the responsibility of managing the educational institution operated by the Kshema Group.

Over the course of 30 years, he has built a distinguished career as a mechanical engineer and perceptive leader in the renewable energy sector. His rich experience includes working with prominent multinational corporations like Siemens, Doosan Skoda Power, Sabic, Engie Energy International, and Sterlite Power. Throughout his journey, he has been involved in various aspects of business, including Global Business Expansion & Strategy.

With over 30 years of experience in renewable energy and telecom, I lead Kshema Power’s India operations, overseeing strategy, growth, and profitability. My journey spans leadership roles at global firms like Vestas and Acciona, where I gained deep insights into energy business dynamics and people management.

With an MBA from MIT Sloan, I bring a strong foundation in innovation and entrepreneurship to drive transformative growth and strategic ventures. At Kshema, my priority is building a performance-driven culture and delivering long-term value through sustainable energy solutions.

RAJAGOPAL VENKATESAN

VICE PRESIDENT - Projects

With a robust background as an Electrical Engineer, this individual brings an extensive wealth of knowledge spanning 30 years in the design, engineering, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) of Power Infrastructure, specializing in renewable energy projects. Notably, they have also gained valuable experience in Malaysia, working on Gas Insulated substations. At present, they hold prominent positions, leading both the bidding and execution aspects of transmission and distribution verticals, as well as overseeing the design-engineering department.

SRINIVAS SUTHRAM

HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

With over 27 years of experience in Sales and Business Development, I specialize in driving growth across the Power (Wind) and Capital Goods sectors. My career spans strategic roles in concept selling, market expansion, contract negotiation, and customer engagement. At Kshema, I lead business development efforts with a focus on expanding our footprint in the renewable energy EPC space.

My goal is to strengthen market presence, explore new geographies, and ensure consistent topline and bottom-line performance. I believe in strategic execution, teamwork, and long-term planning that continue to guide my approach to building sustainable business growth.

VICE PRESIDENT - SCM

Mr. VNK is a highly experienced professional in Supply Chain Management (SCM) with an impressive track record. He has held senior positions in a prominent Indian Multi-National Engineering Company with revenues reaching approximately USD 20 billion. Additionally, he has contributed his expertise to one of India's leading Cement Manufacturing Companies. Mr. VNK has been involved in handling projects related to construction activities across various South Asian countries. Presently, he holds a significant role as the head of Global Supply Chain Management, overseeing all projects for the company worldwide.

Yoganathan T D

VICE PRESIDENT – LAND MANAGEMENT

With more than three decades of experience in the energy sector, my career began in oil and gas exploration and production (1991–2019) before transitioning into Renewable Energy in 2019 for Solar & Wind power projects. At Kshema Power, I serve as Vice President – Land Management, leading project development for Solar & Wind power projects and Transmission lines through land identification and acquisition, resolving ROW challenges, in the states of MP, RJ, AP & KA and ensuring seamless handover of projects to the execution team.

With a background in Electronics & Communication Engineering and an Executive MBA in Production & Operation, I bring a strong blend of technical expertise and managerial acumen. My vision is to expand Kshema’s presence across new geographies and contribute to shaping India’s clean energy future.

ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT – FINANCE & ACCOUNTS

With over 13 years of expertise in audit and finance, I lead the Finance & Accounts division at Kshema Power with a clear mission—to build a cash-rich, resilient organization through strategic planning and smart fund optimization. A B.Com graduate from Utkal University (2007) and a Chartered Accountant since 2013, I believe every number tells a story and every decision shapes the future. My focus lies in governance, risk management, and aligning financial strategy with business vision to drive sustainable growth and strengthen Kshema’s position as a trusted leader in the renewable energy EPC sector.
